Jason Adkins

Chief Executive Officer

Jason W. Adkins joined Bluebird Fiber in March 2024. He is a thirty-year fiber industry veteran and previously served as CEO of Unite Private Networks. He has held leadership roles with Windstream, Kentucky Data Link (KDL), Level 3 Communications, TelCove, Conterra Networks, and KMC Telecom. Adkins earned a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Economics from James Madison University and an MBA from Radford University.

Joe Meyer

Chief Operating Officer

Joe Meyer joined Bluebird Fiber in the fall of 2025 as Chief Operating Officer. He brings three decades of telecom experience spanning technology, customer service, network management, strategy, and business development. Meyer has held executive roles at Sprint and T-Mobile and most recently served as Chief Customer Care and Network Reliability Officer at Cogent Communications. He holds degrees from Creighton University and UNC Chapel Hill, along with a leadership certificate from Georgetown University.

Travis Noble

Chief Revenue Officer

Travis Noble became Chief Revenue Officer at Bluebird Fiber in July 2024. He brings 31 years of telecommunications experience and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise, K-12, and Government Sales at Unite Private Networks (UPN)/Segra, leading enterprise sales across multiple regions. He previously held senior roles with Level 3 Communications, TW Telecom, and MCI Communications. Noble earned a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University.

Sam Storrs

General Counsel

Sam Storrs joined Bluebird Fiber as General Counsel in June 2024. He brings extensive legal and business experience in telecommunications, with deep expertise in the challenges faced by communications service providers. Before Bluebird, he served as in-house counsel at Unite Private Networks, focusing on commercial agreements and legal strategies that supported revenue growth and operational efficiency. Storrs earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Jeremy Andrews

EVP, Strategy and Development

Jeremy Andrews joined Bluebird Fiber in August 2025 and brings 20 years of industry experience. He most recently served as Group Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Segra, overseeing cost management across multiple products and divisions. He previously held leadership roles at Unite Private Networks and Zayo Group, leading teams across carrier sales, sales engineering, and channel operations. Andrews earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing, from Oklahoma State University.

Kelly Harrell

Vice President, Finance

Kelly Harrell joined Bluebird Fiber as Vice President of Finance in February 2022. A licensed CPA in Missouri, she brings more than 15 years of financial management experience with a strong background in public accounting, audit, and assurance. Harrell has worked across multiple industries providing financial oversight and compliance guidance. Her expertise supports Bluebird’s financial planning, risk management, and long-term operational stability.

Kevin Augspurger

Vice President, IT and Systems

Kevin Augspurger is an accomplished IT professional with more than 20 years of experience, including a decade in telecommunications. He specializes in networking, IT security, server and cloud infrastructure, IT management, and facilities. Kevin holds CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security, and MCSA certifications. He studied Computer Science at the University of Kentucky and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film from the University of Kansas.

Taylor Cates

Regional Vice President of Sales

Taylor Cates joined Bluebird in November 2025, bringing with her two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, she served as Regional Vice President at Vyve Broadband, where she oversaw commercial sales across a seven-state territory and led her team to top performance in advanced product sales. Before that, she was Director of Sales at ALLO Communications, managing both direct and channel sales and guiding the sales-strategy launch of the company’s MSP-managed services division. Cates holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma, where she competed in the heptathlon on a track and field scholarship.

Paul DiGiovanni

Senior Vice President, Enterprise Sales

Paul DiGiovanni joined Bluebird Fiber as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales in August 2025. He brings 20 years of telecommunications experience across Enterprise, Channel, Government, and K-12 segments. DiGiovanni most recently led sales for Segra across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. He also held leadership and sales roles at Consolidated Communications, AT&T, and NuVox. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri–Columbia.

Amanda Embry

Vice President, Channel Sales

Amanda Embry serves as Vice President of Channel at Bluebird Fiber, where she leads strategic partnerships and drives growth through innovative channel programs. She brings extensive experience from previous leadership roles, including serving as Sr. Channel Manager at Uniti, where she focused on building strong partner ecosystems and driving revenue growth. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising from Florida State University. Her leadership ensures Bluebird’s partners have the tools and support needed to deliver exceptional connectivity solutions.

Elliot Gillespie

Senior Vice President, Operations

Elliott Gillespie serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Bluebird Fiber and brings more than 25 years of industry experience. He oversees the Network Operations Center, Service Delivery, Carrier Relations, and IT, including software development. Gillespie also manages Bluebird Underground and Bluebird Quad Cities data centers and leads ESG initiatives focused on safety and sustainability. He joined Bluebird in 2007 as an operations technician and advanced through multiple leadership roles.

Larry Glass

Vice President, Engineering

Larry Glass joined Bluebird Fiber in January 2026 and brings over 25 years of industry experience. He most recently served as Vice President of Engineering at Everstream, where he was responsible for leading the Engineering, NOC, and Product teams. He previously held engineering leadership roles with AT&T, Indiana Fiber Network, Cincinnati Bell, and Lightbound. Prior to his telecom career, Glass served for seven years as an Avionics Technician in the United States Air Force.

Daniel Johnston

Vice President, Network Architecture and Engineering

Daniel Johnston is a telecommunications leader with two decades of experience designing and optimizing network infrastructure. As Vice President of Network Architecture and Engineering, he oversees network planning, design, implementation, ensuring scalable and resilient connectivity across Bluebird’s network. Since joining Bluebird, he has advanced through senior roles supporting long-haul and metro strategy. He earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and holds multiple industry certifications, including CCNA and MEF.

Lillian Kash

EVP, Human Resources & Administration at Everstream Solutions

Lillian Kash joined Bluebird Fiber in January 2026, bringing over 25 years of human resources experience. She most recently served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Administration at Everstream, overseeing all HR and administrative efforts. She brings expertise in integrating human capital during mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Lillian served as Senior Human Resources Consultant with American Electric Power. Kash earned a bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and a master’s degree from Ohio State University.

John Lyons

Vice President, Business Operations

John Lyons joined Bluebird Fiber in January 2026. He is a 28-year telecommunications industry veteran with extensive project and program management experience. He most recently served as Vice President of Business Operations for Everstream. He has previously held leadership roles with Crown Castle, Teligent, Sprint, Clearwire, Ericsson, Starry, and Dish Wireless. Lyons earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bates College and a Juris Doctor from Western New England University.

Kelly McLellan

Area Vice President, Carrier Relations

Kelly McLellan joined Bluebird Fiber as Area Vice President of Carrier Relations in January 2025. She brings more than twenty-five years of telecommunications experience and most recently served as Senior Director of Access Management at Unite Private Networks (UPN)/Segra. McLellan has held leadership roles in carrier relations, product management, and process optimization at Uniti Fiber, Peg Bandwidth, and Zayo. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Missouri.

Greg Meinczinger

Vice President, Engineering

Greg Meinczinger joined Bluebird Fiber in January 2026, bringing over 31 years of experience in the telecom field. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Operations and Technology at Everstream, where he was instrumental in driving operational efficiency and greenfield builds. He previously held operations leadership roles with CenturyLink, Level3, and TW Telecom. Meinczinger has also contributed to the industry by serving on the Board of Directors for Indiana 811 for ten years.

Douglas Zerr

Senior Vice President, Engineering

Douglas Zerr joined Bluebird Fiber in March 2009. He is a twenty-five-year telecommunications veteran with two decades in the fiber industry. Before Bluebird, he held a key technical role supporting Williams Communications Group’s fiber network across the western United States. He also provided tiered technical support for wireless technologies at Sprint PCS in Kansas City and Nortel Networks in Los Angeles.
